Hammock Heaven

Hammock by Dennis Mojado

Spent a chunk of the evening lolling in my hammock.  Heavenly.  Yes, I should have been working on Camp NaNoWriMo project,  but I read blogs and rested and stared at the sky.  The last couple of summers between a missing part for the hammock and horrible weather [for some odd reason I don’t find it relaxing to stretch out on my hammock on a humid 100 degree evening… or in the rain] I’ve had no hammock time.

Part issue is taken care of so when it stops raining long enough that I can stop building my ark, I can finally swing gently in the evening breeze and snooze and read and indulge in aforementioned sky gazing.  My favorite outdoor activity.  All is well.

Entered for Jenny Matlock’s AlphabeThursday, which is H this week.

  1. I love hammocks!

I don’t always LOVE getting OUT of hammocks, though!

I’d like to be up in the cool country today with my tunes playing softly and breezes floating over me while I sway in my hammock!

Thanks for a sweet thought on this sweltering hot and humid day!

    Thanks for linking.

    • You’re right there — the exit is tough — so grateful I have strong legs so I can awkwardly power out of it. The relaxation and sway and delight are worth it!
