Cee’s Share Your World for this week:
What are you a “natural” at doing?
I have a natural ability to synthesize ideas or points of view from a variety of places into something cohesive. I used to sit in meetings, listening to two factions arguing — both refusing to budge — and by the end I’d come up with a compromise that took into account the main points from both sides… For myself, I use it a lot as I make my way through exploring many spiritual paths, to bring them together into a path that suits me.
Would you prefer a one floor house or multiple levels?
I like one level. I have an issue with one of my knees and if I have to climb stairs very often, it sets off pain. I also like that one story means no one is walking around over anyone’s head — particularly at moments like a morning when someone in a first floor bedroom is trying to sleep while someone upstairs is trying to get ready and get out…. Or that somebody isn’t grinding coffee right under someone’s room.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Toss up between English and history. Not grammar, particularly, which eventually seemed repetitious and boring, but reading literature. And I was always interested in history. In college I actually majored in history but took more lit classes than history…
