When Cee announced in late August that she was taking a couple of weeks off I quit watching for the Share Your World posts and that’s all it took to get me out of the habit 🙂 But I finally remembered this week slightly before it’s too late…
What is your favorite outdoor activity?
Lying in a hammock in my backyard. Not too far from the refrigerator or the bathroom… And if I don’t have to be in some kind of competition about how far or how fast I like to take short walks (because of a knee issue I’ve learned it’s best to keep it a mile or–preferably–less if I don’t want to be rubbing lineament and popping ibuprofen).
In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?
Drive. In fact I’m such a nervy, bad passenger, I think most drivers prefer that I not be a passenger 🙂
If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?
Finish this entire long drawn-out healing process instantly and be full of energy and vitality for the rest of my days. If I could have that one filled I don’t know that I’d need more wishes. But I’ll name two anyway…
Enough money to live comfortably without worrying about it and then be able to offer my movement work and my writing about peaceful activism anywhere and everywhere for free.
Take cooking classes in France and Italy.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
I think my most exciting moment this week was following a genealogy trail and figuring out my 10x great grandfather came over on the Mayflower. Totally unexpected. And since I’ve mostly found my family to have been poor and full of poverty consciousness, I’m feeling some kind of shift of consciousness because he was not only on the Mayflower but a prominent citizen. Changes my view a a bit.
